Technical Artist

Shipped games:

Days Gone, Death Stranding, Jedi Fallen Order, The Last of Us Part 2, Marvels Avengers, Returnal, Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart, Spiderman 2, The Last of Us Part 1, and The Last of Us 2 Remastered.

  • Developed tools and scripts in Maya, Motion builder and Unreal to transfer animations amongst the different pipeline applications.

  • Collaborated on character art and rigging pipeline tools that would help combine a library of different asset types into a final rig. As well as automated a
    large amount of various rigging tasks such as saving out skin weights, setting up build files, etc.

  • Set up many client rigs for motion capture. Automated the process specialized per project.

  • Rigged foreground props for use in animation.

  • Integrated animations from Maya to Unreal and other proprietary engines. Debugged and solved issues on exports and imports.

  • Developed and collaborated on tools for art / engine integration.  Houdini and Maya tools.

  • Set up workstation software and environments for new artists and animators for remote work.

Rigger

  • Created and maintained character and prop rigs to be animated with for 10 second Disney Jr. bumpers working with an animation team. 

  • Created and cached several nCloth simulations for cloth props.

  • Developed scripts to speed up production workflow.

Technical Artist

  • Developed applications to process assets from the 3D environment to 2D flash assets for use in the Facebook and mobile game 'The Hunger Games Adventures'. This involved a maxscript to C# to JavaScript to ActionScript pipeline as well as developing tools to track which assets need processing.
